I'm a Location Sound Recordist and Production Sound Mixer based in London.
Since 2013, I've recorded location sound for features, documentaries, corporate and commercial films, in the UK and around the world.
I'm dedicated to understanding each project thoroughly, ensuring the right approach and the best kit is used to help realise each creative vision.
Collaborative work is always key, integrating with other departments, to ensure shoots run smoothly and each performance is captured beautifully.
Whether it's filming Mongol warriors in the Gobi desert or pro skateboarders in the Natural History Museum, I've helped directors, writers and some of the worlds biggest brands bring their stories to life, no matter the challenge.

Ben
It was a joy working with Ben on the feature film Blueberry Inn. He recruited and led an excellent sound team and went above and beyond to ensure we were set up for success. In addition to capturing high quality audio for the film, he assisted with EPK audio and was skilled at navigating emergent challenges. He's also kind, easy going, and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Ben for your next project!

"We’ve thrown every challenge we could at Ben - from recording a roving podcast at the Dakar Rally and documenting skateboarders at the London Natural History Museum, to capturing daily insights from Michael Johnson at the Paris Olympics. Every time, Ben brought the perfect solutions and expertise to deliver flawless audio. I can’t wait for our next adventure together."
Scott Marshall - Cut Media, Head of Creative
"Ben was an absolute joy to work with on Blueberry Inn. He adapted to every situation from unexpected herds of cattle, to downpours on a barn roof, to squeaky wheels on a bus, to unpredictably vocal pigs! He was always creative, with workable solutions and mindful of tight resources. He communicated his needs eloquently and explained tough technical issues in plain language. Ben got the most out of his team and his entire department was highly respected & appreciated by the whole crew. In addition to his technical prowess, Ben is in fact just a really lovely person to be around. I can't wait to work with him again."

"Ben was excellent to work alongside on BBC Sport's FA Cup documentary series 'It's On The Line' for iPlayer.
Professional and super chilled around pro players, as well as matchday crowds. He made it to our first location at incredibly short notice and his fast set-up on arrival, along with his positive personality, made it a great experience for all involved."
Content Director, BBC
"I have spent many days working with Ben in challenging, tense circumstances - both as on-screen talent and as an executive producer. Ben is a leading Sound artist and technician and is in a class of his own. His attention to detail, predictive qualities and calm, unflappable demeanor is incredibly valuable to all film and high end drama sets."

"Working with Ben was an absolute pleasure. He has a fantastic, collaborative energy on set and is extremely skilled and knowledgable. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again."
Director
"We shot my feature film “The Wife and Her House Husband” on a micro budget and in just nine days. That didn’t stop the film winning great plaudits, doing a theatrical release and ending up on Amazon Prime. Ben was fundamental to the entire process. He was up against it, every day but somehow managed to create solutions. Remarkably, we only had to do one day of ADR in the studio. He worked closely with the dubbing mixer before we started to create a process that was able to overcome what was coming down the track. This was such a smart move and I would insist on this again. Ben is a must have in your armory – at all budget levels. Once more, thank you Ben. I owe you."
Director
"Working on 'Love & Engineering' with Ben was great. It’s nice to work with someone whom you can trust from the beginning. We were shooting a very long take with a small crew on the streets of London, and Ben was able to quickly adjust to the situation and think quickly to get the most out of the shot. In the end, he managed to capture everything crystal clear."
